“After selling for Wesson Oil, I was hired at Ecko Glaco to sell baking pans and worked my way up, eventually becoming their National Sales Manager. I then decided I wanted to try my own business and started selling used baking pans, sometimes out of the trunk of my car. I was always looking for an opportunity to provide customers with something they needed, and that led me to also start buying and selling used bakery equipment. That’s when I started Russell T. Bundy Associates, Inc. with my wife, Liz, in 1964.” ~ Russ
“After moving to America from South Africa where I was born and raised, Russell and I got married and I began working as treasurer for our newfound adventure, Russell T. Bundy Associates, Inc. It’s been an amazing ride, and we feel very blessed to be part of this industry for so many years.” ~ Liz
“I used to attend auctions of bakeries that were going out of business in order to bid on their used equipment. But when I saw the rich history of the bakeries that I’d gotten to know (many of whom were like family to me) being left behind, I knew I needed to do something. So I began buying and collecting the memorabilia (signs, vehicles, and other artifacts) and was able to use part of the building that I had purchased in Urbana, Ohio to house the collection, which eventually became known as The Bundy Baking Museum.” ~ Russ
“When we’re away from the business, there is nothing that brings us more joy than spending time with our children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. We also love traveling and seeing the world.” ~ Russ & Liz
“We will be forever grateful for the wonderful friendships that we’ve made being a part of the baking industry. We wish nothing but the best for our great customers, suppliers, employees, colleagues, and friends.” ~ Russ & Liz
