1. Straightening (Optional)
Hydraulic presses and custom-made dies remove dents and warping, restoring pans to their original shape.
A proprietary cleaning solution removes the existing coating as well as heavy greases and carbon from pans.
Pans are restored to pristine cleanliness.
Pans are dried in industrial ovens.
Pans are coated with our DuraShield coating and cured in high-temperature batch ovens.
In most cases, pans will be back in your bakery and good as new within 48 hours.
AMERICOAT® Use & Care
To maximize the life of your existing pans, follow the recommendations below. To help identify if you are experiencing mechanical damage, inspect your pans regularly. Check sidewalls, pan bottoms, and coating surfaces and look for patterns in wear to identify sources.
Check for wear points on all surfaces of your pans. Find the causes of the wear and make the necessary adjustments before damage to the pans or AMERICOAT® become severe.
Eliminate pan distortion by eliminating the causes of distortion within the system. Straighten pans when necessary to protect the coating and the pans if pan distortion cannot be eliminated.
Pans should be brushed and vacuumed before being taken off the line for storage. All residue should be removed from the pan prior to storage. Ideally, the pans should be hand wiped with a damp cloth as needed® usually between 500 and 1,000 bakes.
